Sisters create scholarship honoring late mother, fellow Weber State alum

91¶ÌÊÓƵ graduate Kari Harbath and her sister, current student Kassie, created a scholarship fund in memory of their mother, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ alum Paula “Kim” McCorkle-Harbath, to give back to the community that helped them through hardships.

As a muralist and furniture upcycler, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ graduate Brooke Facer’s artwork can be found on walls and in homes throughout the country.  She enjoys using creative canvases — building exteriors, chairs, dressers or other household furniture — to showcase her signature vibrant style.

Utah woman learned to manage chronic illnesses to pursue goals at Weber State

Elizabeth Poe’s love for learning always fueled her dream of going to college, but it wasn’t until she learned to manage her chronic illnesses that she enrolled at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ to pursue a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree.
