In addition to the resources provided by Care About Childcare, families can utilize resources offered through state and national programs.

State Programs


The Kids in Care program reimburses regulated child care providers for caring for children while parents engage in formal job search activities.
Providers can be reimbursed for up to 150 hours of drop in child care for each Kids in Care family they provide care for.

Utah State Child Care Assistance Program helps families cover the cost of child care. The amount of child care subsidy is determined based on several factors and may not cover the total cost of child care; parents are responsible to pay child care providers for all costs incurred.
