LEARN: Employment Readiness Toolkit
“The Employment Readiness Toolkit is a self-paced online course that focuses on the NACE career readiness competencies. This course includes interactive modules that help students understand, assess, develop, articulate, and reflect on these competencies.
The Employment Readiness Toolkit takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Supervisors and student employees should work together to develop goals and a timeline for completion”
EVALUATE: SkillSurvey
SkillSurvey is an evaluation tool based on the NACE competencies. Supervisors and student employees each assess the student’s work-related behaviors in a survey that takes less than 10 minutes to complete (on average).
The supervisor and student receive a personalized report that provides an overall picture of the student’s career readiness. The career ready report allows students to compare their self-evaluations to their supervisor’s ratings, national averages, and employer expectations to help them identify areas for growth.
SkillSurvey can be used in place of or as a supplement to your regular student employee evaluation.
