Early College Application Process

 

  • The Summer 2024 application is now closed.
  • For Fall 2024 applicants, steps 1-3 of the process must be completed by August 16th, 2024 and step 4 must be completed by August 29th, 2024.
  • For Spring 2025 applicants, steps 1-2 of the process must be completed by December 13th, 2024 and step 3-4 must be completed by December 19th, 2024.

Step 1: Attend an Early College Information Session‌

This mandatory first step is incredibly beneficial, as it is designed to answer a lot of the initial questions parents and students have.

You may want to review the Early College eligibility requirements to see if your GPA is sufficient for joining this program.

For NUAMES students, Information Sessions to join the Early College program have concluded for the 2023 91¶ÌÊÓƵ-2024 school year. Email earlycollege@weber.edu if you have any questions.

For Non-NUAMES students, this session is offered in a 1 on 1 appointment format. Schedule an appointment with your 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Dual Enrollment Advisor on the Early College Advising page and let them know the appointment purpose as info session.

 

Step 2: Complete the and submit the required items below

Important Note: If you have not been admitted to Concurrent Enrollment (CE) at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, complete that application first as it is required to be admitted to CE before joining this program. Joining Early College will not prevent your ability to take CE classes.

  • Complete the .
  • Download and Submit the  after your parent or legal guardian has signed it (only a signature on Part 1: Services/Activities is required).
    • This document can be directly emailed to earlycollege@weber.edu.
  • Submit your official high school transcript.
    • Check with your high school registrar or counselor to request they send an official transcript directly to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Office.
    • They can also email official transcripts to earlycollege@weber.edu.

 

Step 3: Complete the mandatory 91¶ÌÊÓƵ New Student Orientation

All new Wildcats are required to complete the online  modules through their eWeber portal. You will learn important information like how to register for classes, pay for tuition, apply for scholarships, explore degree programs, and available resources for you on campus. More information can be found at: weber.edu/orientation.

 

Step 4: Meet with a 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Dual Enrollment Advisor

Finally, you will need to set up your Required Early College (REC) appointment with the Dual Enrollment Advisor for your campus in order to register for classes. At least one parent or legal guardian is required to attend this appointment with you.

NUAMES Students:

Once you have completed this step, if you are eligible for the NUAMES Scholarship, be sure to meet with your NUAMES High School Counselor to complete the NUAMES Scholarship Agreement.
