Financial Support
The process for applying for financial aid is the same for graduate students as for undergraduate students. Students may combine loans, awards, or scholarships for financial aid assistance. In-state tuition waivers are available through individual graduate programs.

Scholarships
To apply for non-academic scholarships, complete the Scholarship Universe application.
Make sure you are applying for the appropriate aid year. Depending on individual scholarships, additional application steps may be required, but all 91¶ÌÊÓƵ and national scholarships can be found in Scholarship Universe.

Travel Awards
Travel funding of up to $500 is available for graduate students accepted to present their research or projects at regional, national, or international conferences, seminars, or workshops. Graduate students may also use a travel award to attend a regional or national conference, workshop, or seminar for professional development and to support their graduate coursework and career goals.
Priority funding will be given to students presenting their graduate research or projects.
Only one student per application is eligible for funding. If multiple students with different projects present at the same conference, each student must submit a separate application.

Graduate Assistantship Funding
Graduate assistantships in teaching and research provide financial support for full-time graduate students. The availability of awards is contingent upon the funding and project opportunities within each department. Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP)
91¶ÌÊÓƵ participates in the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP), administered by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Students from qualified states who are officially accepted into a Weber State Graduate program may receive approval to receive in-state tuition rates not exceeding 150% of the university’s resident tuition rate. for a list of participating WUE schools.

No separate application is required. However, you will need to declare your residency to one of the WICHE states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, U.S. Pacific Territories, Freely Associated States (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam), Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
WICHE guidelines mandate that if a degree program discontinues participation in the WRGP program, it will hold currently enrolled graduate students who were previously awarded the discounted WRGP rate harmless and charge them the discounted rate until graduation.

Receive WRGP admission requirements and deadlines from your program director. Applicants must meet all requirements in order to apply.

Receive approval from your program director before applying to avoid being charged full out-of-state tuition.

If your program is eligible, apply directly to your degree program or department and identify yourself as a WICHE WRGP applicant.
