The available funds will be redirected to individual student research or project awards if a team does not submit for an award.

Student Research or Project Award

The evaluation criteria include the scholarship, clarity, and quality of writing. It also assesses the student's demonstrated understanding of the topic and their role as the primary investigator or project lead. Additional criteria include the relevance of the research or project to their program of study, the potential impact of the work, and its potential for future research. The significance of the findings is also considered, along with a faculty mentor award letter and signatures from the student or faculty.

Team Research or Project Award

Detail each person's role, including the scholarship, impact, clarity, and quality of writing, as well as the student's demonstrated understanding of the topic. Evaluate the student’s role as the primary investigator or project lead, the relevance to their program of study, the potential impact of the research or project, the potential for future research, and the significance of the research findings.
