HONORS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year, these scholarships are offered exclusively to students who are enrolled in the program.
These funds allow students to focus on what truly matters -- their studies, passions, and goals -- with less attention to financial worries. 

 

Timeline:

November 1, 2024 || Application Opens

Monday after Spring break (March 10, 2025) || Application Closes

April 4, 2025 || Scholarship recipients notified

Scholarship goes into effect || August 2025 to April 2026


  • Foundation Honors Scholarship  


    Awards $500 per semester in the 2025-26 academic year for a total of $1000.

    For students enrolled in the Foundation Honors.
     

    To be eligible for the 2025-26 "Foundation" Scholarship, an applicant must:

    • Be enrolled full-time in the 2025-26 academic year (at least 12 credit hours per semester);
    • Be enrolled in the Foundation Honors pathway before applying;
    • Take an Honors course in the 2025-26 academic year;

    Scholarship


    Awards $1000 per semester in the 2025-26 academic year for a total of $2000.

    For students who are enrolled in University Honors and have completed 3+ credits of HNRS courses.

    To be eligible for the 2025-26 "University" Scholarship, an applicant must:

    • Be enrolled full-time in the 2025-26 academic year (at least 12 credit hours per semester);
    • Be enrolled in University Honors at least one semester before applying;
    • Complete at least 3 credits of Honors generated courses before applying.

  • Departmental Honors Scholarship


    Awards $500 per semester in the 2025-26 academic year for a total of $1000.

    For students enrolled in Departmental Honors and are actively pursuing completion of their requirements.

    To be eligible for the 2025-26 "Departmental Honors" Scholarship, an applicant must:

    • Be enrolled full-time in the 2025-26 academic year (at least 12 credit hours per semester);
    • Be enrolled in Departmental Honors at least one semester before applying and have your department advisor confirm that your status is active and requirements are being pursued.

Each scholarship requires a letter of support. It is highly recommended that you contact the professor of your choosing a minimum of 3 weeks in advance to the deadline. More information about letters of support can be found in the applications.

Students must meet the eligibility requirements under their current degree
(e.g. If a student has graduated previously and is returning for another degree, only their current degree will be considered).

Completing FAFSA is not required to be eligible for these scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or ethnicity.

We are willing to give partial awards if you have only 1 more semester until graduation.
