Final Report and Defense

Thesis or Project Defense

To conclude your project or thesis, you will participate in a final defense, which is an oral presentation of your completed work to your supervisory committee and any interested MSCS faculty or students. Schedule your defense with your thesis or project committee members.

Defense Expectations:

  • Clearly present your objectives, methodology, findings, and conclusions.

  • Be prepared to answer questions and discuss your decisions, design choices, or results in detail.

  • Your defense is your opportunity to demonstrate the depth of your knowledge and the quality of your work.

After a successful defense and any required revisions, you will finalize and submit your report.
