Psychological science is a diverse and interconnected field of study exploring the biological, cognitive, developmental, social and personality, and mental and physical health domains of the human experience. Our department is committed to student-centered teaching and high-impact educational opportunities that foster critical thinking, career readiness, and social responsibility.
With a degree in psychological science, you can explore a number of different career paths, from counseling and healthcare to law, business, and more. A recent psychological science alum, Alexis Wendl, used her degree in psychological science to pursue a career as a lawyer.
Declare Psychological Science as Your Major or Minor
Please go to the Change my Major app on the eWeber portal and make the request through the app. Once your information is processed, your program of study is updated in Cattracks, your official academic record.
Majors and teaching majors are required to have a minor (with the exception of double majors). To declare the minor, you must contact that department directly and seek advising regarding their requirements. Most minors are 18-24 credits.
