Lab experience varies, and may include study design, data collection, coding and analysis, and professional presentation.
Get Involved
Students interested in gaining research experience should explore our established labs and reach out to faculty mentors directly. Research in these labs explores a variety of topics pertaining to cognitive and affective psychophysiology, underrepresented identities in academic contexts, memory and metacognition, teaching and learning, and narrative as a mechanism of social and emotional development. Research experience is an excellent way to gain elective projects and research credit (PSY 2800/4800/4910), pursue departmental honors, personalize learning, and demonstrate professional competence to potential graduate programs and employers.
