Celebrating 50 years in 2016, the School of Radiologic Sciences combines classroom instruction with clinical practice taught by highly motivated and nationally recognized faculty.

Radiologic Sciences is a medical field that uses ionizing radiation, sound waves, and magnetic fields to produce medical images for diagnostic purposes or to treat diseases by combining medical procedures with technology. Whether you’re starting with an Associate’s degree or are certified as a Radiologic Technologist and completing your Bachelor's, we have a program for you.

Just Getting Started?

Radiography (X-Ray) Program

Associate of Applied Science in Radiography

This is the starting point for your profession in Radiologic Sciences. You need to complete this program before advancing to our Bachelor's programs where you can specialize in a modality.

Upon completion, you will be eligible to take the national certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and be prepared to work as a Radiologic Technologist or Radiographer.

Advanced Modalities/Specialties

Bachelor of Science

Specialize in an advanced modality such as Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, and more.  

For all Bachelor's programs, you must have completed a Radiography Program first and you must be ARRT certified. 

Sonography program prerequisites are also satisfied by patient care experience and either an Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree in a medically related major.
