Program Details

There are various structures in these locations that are great examples for students studying architecture to learn from. Students who participate will better understand various aspects of the different cultures in the regions they will visit. They will also gain knowledge of architectural styles, motifs, furniture, interiors, & accessories from the industrial revolution forward. There will also be improvement of hand skills through sketching and better presentation skills through publishing a portfolio.

Pay deposit and all payments to the Hurst Center for Lifelong Learning in person or pay over the phone with a credit card at (801) 626-6600. Please, do not pay on campus, all payments need to be made at the Hurst Center.

May 13- London to Barcelona flight here or morning of next day
May 14 & 15- Barcelona
May 16- Madrid/Toledo

Program Directors

Jacie Johnson has the main responsibility for teaching and organizing the tour and writing the curriculum. Jacie teaches both IDT 3010 and IDT 3020. She has had the great opportunity to travel and can share her practical experience with students.

Trip Cancellations

If the trip is canceled, all participants will be refunded. Any refunds for withdrawals from the program will be determined by the Study Abroad Director according to the recoverability of incurred costs and fees and according to the Continuing Education Policy. Once the group leaves all costs are non-refundable in their entirety. Dates & process may change. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of any such changes by staying in contact with the program director.
