The 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Choir, Orchestra, Flute Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble

Program Details

The Weber State Symphony Orchestra and Choir will travel to Hawaii to offer at least two concerts featuring the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Symphony Orchestra, Choir, Flute Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. There will also be music workshops and exchanges with ensembles from the University of Hawaii and BYU Hawaii. The focus will be on World Music and its relation to the cultures represented in the music. Both universities have World Music ensembles, and the University of Hawaii has one of the largest ethnic musical instrument collections in the world.

Suggested Payment Schedule:

  • Dec. 15, 2017: $200 - Deposit Due
  • Jan. 8, 2018: $250
  • Feb. 5, 2018: $250
  • March 5, 2018: $250
  • March 30, 2018: $250
  • April 14, 2018: $50

Must be paid in full by April 28, 2018

Deposit: $200 dollars to be paid when you hand in your application.

All payments must be made through the Hurst Center, NOT at the main cashier's office. Payment can be made in person, or over the phone at (801) 626-6600. The Hurst Center is located on the south side of campus next to the Alumni Center.

Includes: hotel for eight nights (price based on triple occupancy), ground transportation, and associated entrance fees.

NOT included: airfare, incidentals, excess baggage costs, any unscheduled travel, and meals.

Trip Cancellations

If the program is canceled all participants will be refunded 100% of fees paid (91¶ÌÊÓƵ cannot reimburse personal funds spent outside beyond the program fee). Withdrawal from the program may result in penalty fees, to be determined by the Study Abroad Director according to the refund policy described in the application. All costs are non-refundable in their entirety 30 days prior to departure, without exception. Dates and prices may change. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of any such changes by staying in contact with the program director.
