Students will be exploring the ancient Roman ruins in the countries of Italy and Croatia. They will be visiting works of Palladio and experiencing several museums for exposure to the art of early periods. They will be exploring Renaissance and Revival architecture inspired by earlier works. Students will also be able to participate in tours with emphasis on medieval dwellings, burial sites, and 3 renowned museums. In addition, students will be given museum passes on some of their free days. They will see restorative work done to mimic early architecture which was destroyed during the world wars.
Selection Criteria:
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Participants must be a high school graduate or above.
- Participants must read, speak, and understand English.
- Participants will be expected to move themselves and their luggage significant distances through urban settings and transportation hubs in a timely fashion that will not delay the group.
