Students will examine the internetworking's of a global governance and processes, policy generation and implementation for sustainable change and gain direct experiences on the international ground of the United Nations. They will also gain insider perspectives and have direct contact with policy makers and global professionals. They will experience NYC, tours, and other guided activities to connect and unpack global issues addressed by the UN and Commission on the Status of Women.
Requirements:
- Students must interview with Dr. Speicher to ensure that they are equipped to travel across the country and undergo rigorous academic study and schedule. Students may also be enrolled in WGS 4900, which will be a powerful supplement to the study abroad trip. Students should be a minimum of 18 years old. Those with special dietary needs should discuss their requirements with Dr. Speicher before traveling.
