Travel to Sweden and Finland to explore and learn about their healthcare systems. Students will visit Stockholm, Helsinki, and surrounding destinations. Students will hear from healthcare professionals and visit facilities in each country to learn about their healthcare systems. Students will spend 10 days in Scandinavia and gain 3 elective credits for the MHA and eMHA programs. Students will gain exposure to different international healthcare systems, as well as explore Nordic destinations including Stockholm, Uppsala, and Helsinki. At the conclusion of the program, students will be able to:
- Compare and contrast entrepreneurial, mandated insurance, and national health service models of international health systems.
- Compare and contrast health and social systems of these Nordic countries to determine what is working well and what needs to improve.
- Compare the healthcare and social welfare systems of the U.S., Sweden, and Finland.

Participants must:
- Be currently enrolled in the MHA or eMHA program.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
