College Access & First Year Transition
Mission: To increase college participation and success for historically underrepresented and first-generated students, through partnerships with schools in our community. Working alongside students as they pursue and successfully complete post-secondary education, we provide targeted support and connections from the end of their senior year in high school through their first year at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ.
Programs open to undocumented students/DACA:
- State GEAR UP
A program designed to help students succeed in high school and successfully achieve college graduation. The program is offered free of charge to eligible students at Clearfield, Layton and Roy High Schools as well as ninth grade students at Central Davis, Mountain and Sand Ridge Junior High Schools.

- Student 2 Student (S2S)
Student 2 Student is designed to increase participation in post-secondary education by providing college access resources and academic support services to underrepresented students from target high school in local school districts. Students will be encouraged through systematic guidance, support, mentoring and advocacy. Schools served include Ben Lomond High School, Bonneville High School, Clearfield High School, Layton High School, Northridge High School, Ogden High School, Roy High School and Syracuse High School.
