Methods for Teaching Foreign Language Online Course

The Methods for Teaching Foreign Language course is offered fully online every fall, spring, and summer semester. Registration for this course usually opens when 91¶ÌÊÓƵ registration periods start. To view 91¶ÌÊÓƵ registration periods, semester dates, and other pertinent information, go here.

The Methods for Teaching Foreign Language course is offered as an undergraduate course (WLC 4500) and as a graduate course (WLC 6500). Registration for the courses is processed through Continuing Education and you can  You can also review a Sample Syllabus to get a better idea of the course structure.

Course Access

You will have access to your course the first day the class begins each semester. You will not be able to access your course before then. To access your course after you have registered and paid your fees, you must do the following:

  • Create a Wildcat account.
  • Log into your course by going to the eWeber student portal. To login, go to the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ homepage and click on the icon located in the top right corner. You will use your Wildcat username and password to log in.
  • Select "91¶ÌÊÓƵ Online — Canvas Courses," then the name of your course (either FL 4500 or FL 6500). This will take you to either your course materials or to the Canvas login page. At the , choose 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Online as the institution, then log in using your Wildcat username and password.

There is one required textbook for this course. You should order it so that you have it when the course begins.
