Translation Week
Did you know that language services make up a $50 billion industry?
The world's largest organizations need employees who are adept in translation, interpretation and localization, which is the art of adapting products or services to meet the needs of a language or culture.
Translation Week highlights Weber State's new programs in translation and localization. By engaging with these topics, students learn concepts such as how to overcome technical or cultural issues in digital applications like software, websites, videos or video games. An associate's degree or minor in localization is the perfect complement to a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, communication and many more. Plus, the skills and knowledge students learn in the program will help them stand out when applying for jobs in a competitive global market.
Translation Week is sponsored by 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's Department of World Languages & Cultures and we look forward to a great week of events!
