Student Accomplishments
Seniors Hannah Phelps and Jordan Stephens competed at the FullerTown tournament (January 3 – 6, 2022) hosted collaboratively by CSU Fullerton and Georgetown. Phelps and Stephens defeated their district rivals from Wyoming, as well as competing in close rounds against Emory, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Michigan.
The speech showcase was held in December, congratulations to the five finalists:
- Lillyanna Nunley: The System
- Audrey Spendlove: Whose Land is it, Anyway?
- Celecia Peterson: Immersing yourself in Opportunity
- Shelly Smith: Hunger Knows No Boundaries
- Conner Wangsgard: Winning Them Over
Faculty Accomplishments
Aaron Atkins received the Honors Eccles Fellowship. Atkins will be working with Randy Hurd from the Mechanical Engineering Department. The course is called: “Worth 1000 Words” – The Impact of Photography and Digital Media on Communication, Science and Technology. The class will be offered during the 22-23 Academic Year.
Patrick Murphy has been selected as one of the 2021-2022 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Career Champions at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Career Services. Congratulations!
