Heavy Duty Truck Program
Prepares you for a career as a diesel engine service technician or to go on for your bachelor’s degree in automotive technology.

Step 1:
Automotive Service Stackable
Students are required to complete one of the following pre-requisite programs prior to applying to the program at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ.
Partnering Technical Colleges
Mountainland Technical College
Step 2:
Associate of Applied Science
This 2-year degree program includes formal classroom training and supervised work experience as a paid service technician in an independent shop or dealership.
Step 3:
Bachelor of Science
With a Bachelor's degree, you'll be able to position yourself for a leadership role withing the automotive industry.
You’ll be qualified to work for some of the leading manufacturers around the country, or you can find a great career close to home.

Certifications You'll Prepare to Earn
- ASE Master HD Truck Technician (Tests T1–T8) certification
- EPA Clean Air Act Amendment of 1990 (Sections 608 and 609) Air Conditioning Certification
- Emissions inspection and maintenance certification where applicable
- Utah safety inspection certification for Utah-based students
