The New Faculty Retreat will be held August 16-18 at Homestead Resort. This retreat is for all new full time faculty and will kick off the yearlong New Faculty Experience. At the retreat, you will have the opportunity to network with your fellow new faculty members, deans, administration, seasoned faculty, and other departments. There will be sessions to help you develop and design your courses, manage difficult conversations in the classroom, and navigate the work-life balance. If you are a new full-time faculty member, please consider participating in the New Faculty Retreat.
Join the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and your fellow part-time instructors for a lively discussion about neurodiversity in the classroom. You will also have the opportunity to share your best AI teaching practice and/or your AI policy in your classroom. Bring one acitivity you use to help you teach or prepare for students using AI within the context of your courses.
