The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) inspires, motivates, and supports all faculty, regardless of rank or status, in their journey towards teaching excellence and innovation. We promote community and collaboration across Weber State campuses and create safe spaces to innovate. We strive to enhance faculty excellence academically and in life.

Vision Statement

Teaching and learning is the heart of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ.  The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning  is the center of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s culture that values evidence-based teaching and engaged learning to promote student success. The CETL is a resource for all instructors who care about the learning environment they create for students. It fosters dialogue, scholarship, innovation, and excellence in learner-centered teaching. The CETL provides and promotes opportunities for the enhancement of excellent teaching and scholarship that mutually inform one another for the benefit of faculty, students and the community.
