Jared Van Orden

IT Finance and Office Manager

Jared earned a B.A. Degree at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ in Finance with minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship. His background is in Entrepreneurship and Financial Management. He enjoys working with organizations and businesses to help them clearly define their objectives and surround those objectives with processes and systems to meet their goals.

He looks forward to contributing to the mission and goals of the IT Division using solid accounting and budgetary skills to oversee IT Division funds. His responsibilities include managing the preparation and allocation process of the division's budget as well as providing information and reports, and reviewing financial and personnel transactions to insure proper regulations are followed.

In his spare time, he gives time and energy to worthy causes that impact the community he lives in and loves. Some of that time is spent consulting with individuals who want to begin their dream of business ownership or are currently involved in their dream and want to take it to the next level. His hope to impact those with whom he associates.

He enjoys spending time with his three young children. He loves Ogden, and Weber State is a big part of that.

Ty Naylor is responsible for Campus and Public facing events and communications from the IT Division. His passion is to establish, develop and enhance communications and relationships with people and to inspire others to innovate and grow personally and professionally.
