Bachelor of Arts In Art
This degree requires a minor and foreign language credits. To earn your bachelor’s in general art, you will complete your foundations courses and studio work with varied mediums, including options in printmaking, painting, ceramics, sculpture and photography.
Additionally, the critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills you’ll develop as an art major can be applied to a large array of professional fields.
You’ll also be prepared to pursue your Master of Fine Arts degree.

Associate of Arts
An Associate of Arts will indicate you have completed the degree requirements and the Studio Foundations curriculum required for the Bachelor of Arts in Art. Once you complete the AA degree, you may continue with intermediate and advanced coursework for the bachelor’s degree. You will also be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program and pick an emphasis in Graphic Design, Photography, Art Education, 2D Media or 3D Media.
