Mission
To support high-quality arts learning experiences at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ and across the state of Utah.
Vision
In 2013, the Telitha E. Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities and the Jerry & Vickie Moyes College of Education established a collaborative dedicated to arts learning at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. The Arts Learning Collaborative supports high-quality arts learning experiences through professional development, advocacy, research, and community partnerships. This endowed program was made possible by the Sorenson Legacy Foundation.
91¶ÌÊÓƵ is a proud university partner supporting the legislatively-funded BTS Arts (a statewide elementary arts integration program).
The Arts Learning Collaborative provides year-round professional development and an annual Arts Integration Conference that offers hands-on learning experiences in arts learning and arts integration for K-12. The Arts Learning Collaborative also supports ArtsBridge, BTS Arts Internships, arts education courses, and community projects that nurture the arts.

2020 Sorenson
Legacy Award
The Arts Learning Collaborative received the Sorenson Legacy Awards For Excellence In Arts Education for Exemplary Arts Program, which recognizes Excellence in Arts Education in Utah's Public Schools. Through the Sorenson Legacy Foundation and the Utah State Board of Education, the Sorenson Legacy Awards for Excellence in Arts Education will recognize the essential nature of education in the arts for Utah's students, distinguish those educators who embrace the arts with excellence in their practice and ensure that Beverley Taylor Sorenson's legacy will continue on. -
2020 Center for Community Engaged Learning Presidential Community Engagement award for Community-Engaged Faculty
Tamara Goldbogen received the Center for Community-Engaged Learning Presidential Community Engagement award for Community-Engaged Faculty. Each year, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ recognizes the work of outstanding faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners. This award recognizes an individual who successfully either incorporates community-engaged learning with demonstrable outcomes or conducts outstanding community-engaged research. -
2020 Joseph and Holly Nye Bauman Outstanding Faculty in Honors Award
Tamara Goldbogen, Director Of The Arts Learning Collaborative, Received the 2020 Joseph and Holly Nye Bauman Outstanding Faculty In Honors Award. The Nye Outstanding Faculty Award is Presented to one Faculty Member each year. Award winners are selected by the Honor Student Advisory Board from among current Honors faculty and are chosen based on honors student experience inside and outside of class. The award is presented at the spring Nye Graduation Banquet, made possible by the generous support of the Ralph Nye Charitable Foundation.

2019 Presidential Excellence Teaching Award
Tamara Goldbogen, director of the Arts Learning Collaborative, received the Presidential Teaching Excellence Award, which recognizes faculty members who are outstanding teachers. Teaching excellence, which may be manifest in various ways, brings significant important results for students and their success. Up to 12 Presidential Teaching Excellence Awards may be given each year to tenure-track, non tenure-track, instructor and adjunct faculty members. -
2017 Exemplary Interdisciplinary Collaboration Award
The Arts Learning Collaborative received the Exemplary Interdisciplinary Collaboration Award that goes to faculty who have worked collaboratively across disciplinary boundaries, whether within departments, across Departments, with professional colleagues or with off-campus agencies or organizations.
