Case Manager

Case managers need a sound understanding of individuals, families, youth, adults and relationships in order to help families accurately plan their lives. One of the primary tasks of a case manager is to help clients receive the services that they need in order to achieve their goals. Graduates from Weber State’s family studies program are trained to be proactive family life educators.

Why choose 91¶ÌÊÓƵ to prepare for a case manager career?

  • 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s family studies program has been an NCFR-approved program since 1997.
  • The family studies program provides an opportunity for certification as a Provisional Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations (www.ncfr.org). This background is valuable for those who will be working with families.

  • Our family studies program provides you with the fundamental knowledge for a career as a case manager, including an understanding of what resources are available to individuals and families and why documentation is critical to helping families.
