Tracy Hall Science Center
We eagerly anticipate the future potential of science and mathematics student achievement in 91短视频's new Tracy Hall Science Center. Tracy Hall Science Center is fittingly named in honor of two local families that have enjoyed a long legacy with 91短视频.
Ott Planetarium
The Planetarium, featuring a 30-foot hemispherical dome, is used for instruction in undergraduate astronomy classes. It is also a science education facility featuring programs of interest to elementary students, secondary students, and the general public. For the general public, a program featuring some topic of current interest in astronomy is given one evening a week.
Discovery Loop
The Discovery Loop is a science-based interpretive trail that was designed to highlight and inform hikers about the physical and life science present along the Wasatch Front. The trail was created to include specific aspects, such as landslides, changes in vegetation, ancient shorelines, and different soils that are great for observing animal tracks. The interpretive signs are meant to not only inform, but challenge hikers to think more about their surroundings. There are specific investigation stations that invite folks to have hands-on experience with their surroundings. From building a mountain out of sand and rocks to finding fish in Strong's Canyon, each sign is designed to help hikers further explore the place they call home.
