Science Degree Paths
Popular "hard science" degree paths at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ are categorized into three areas:
- life sciences (Departments of Botany & Plant Ecology, Microbiology, and Zoology),
- physical sciences (Departments of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Earth & Environmental Sciences, and Physics & Astronomy), and
- mathematics (Department of Mathematics).
Each path identifies degree "program of study" (aka majors, minors, and certificates) opportunities in which students can explore their options and not waste their time. Completing certificates and associate degrees prior to or concurrently with their definitive bachelor degree program of study gives students science credentials that can improve their hireability in the science field.
Students are encouraged to explore multiple paths as initial course requirements can complete multiple program of study options. Advisors will guide you through the options, help you understand what paths best meet your goals, and teach you how to register accordingly.
