Upon earning departmental honors students will be recognized with the following: 

• A transcript and degree diploma that will declare departmental honors were earned in a major area.
• Invitations to Honors Program social and educational events.
• An invitation to the Honors Nye Banquet.
• A graduation honors distinction (a cord, medallion or pin) for graduation.

Every ENS program has different requirements for earning departmental honors.
