The College of Science at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ (91¶ÌÊÓƵ) supports pre-medical students interested in pursuing a career in osteopathic medicine through its partnership with the . AACOM is the leading organization for osteopathic medical education and provides valuable resources for students, including information on medical school admissions, financial aid, and the application process for Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) programs.
91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s College of Science helps pre-medical students take full advantage of AACOM’s resources. This includes guidance on applying through the AACOMAS (American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service), which is the central system for applying to DO schools in the U.S. Through AACOM, students gain access to essential tools for preparing for the , meeting academic requirements, and crafting strong applications.

Weber State's acceptance rate has always been higher than the national average of applicant's acceptance into medical college, which is close to 50%. As students follow the advisement and recommendation of the program they find that they are aware of their own personal risks when applying.

The University, College of Science, and other colleges on Weber's campus provide a variety of scholarships on a competitive basis for qualifying students. Premedical Professional students should complete the scholarship universe application and then contact their major department for other opportunities. By utilizing AACOM’s resources and the college’s comprehensive support system, Weber State students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully take the MCAT, navigate the application process, and pursue a career as a doctor of osteopathic medicine.
