Meet your advisors
Julie Christensen
I advise students in Computer Science, Cybersecurity and Network Management, and Web UX, which makes up the School of Computing. I also am an academic coach working with the CS Flex online program.
When not working, I enjoy hiking, building puzzles, home renovations, spending time with my family,
and family history research.
Pat DeJong
I advise the School of Computing, which includes Computer Science, Cybersecurity and Network Management, and WEB UX.
I can be found volunteering at events encouraging students to major in STEM fields. In my spare time, I love to hike, kayak, and camp in National Parks.
Aimee Golden
My advising specialty is Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books and expanding my library. I also love exploring the outdoors with my dog, Kara, and attempting to learn how to kayak and paddleboard. Most often, you can find me playing a cozy video game, hanging with my cats, and listening to a podcast.
Rainie Ingram
I am the Graduate Enrollment Director for EAST. I enjoy hiking, yoga, and being outside. I have a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies, all from Weber State.
I have loved my experiences at Weber State, and I hope you will too!
Angie Payan
As an academic advisor, my passion is assisting students with meeting their academic goals and helping them excel.
I love spending time with my family, visiting our national parks, doing pilates or walking, caring for my chickens, and fly fishing. In fact, I am halfway through the Cutthroat Slam.
Tanya Scott
I am a College Advisor for EAST majors with a passion for helping others. I enjoy working out, cooking, and spending time with my family.
Fun fact, I graduated college with my son in the Spring of 2021 and we walked in the Graduation ceremony together on the football field. As 91¶ÌÊÓƵ alumni we bleed purple.
Jessica Slater
Passionate about automotive education, dedicated to supporting students, and committed to
continuously improving the program's quality and relevance within the automotive industry.
Story Sutton
I am an Academic Transition Advisor, working primarily with students who are transferring, returning to school after a break, or changing majors. Although I work with EAST students most often, I meet with students of all majors.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, paddle boarding, and spending time with my family.
Paige Young
I am the Faculty Advisor for the Professional Sales Department and advise all the Professional Sales
Majors, Minors, and Sales BIS students.
During my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my two daughters Paisley & Aspen, my two dogs Rusko and Aurora, and my Husband Braden. I also enjoy working out in my home gym, listening to true crime stories, and in the Summer going to Lagoon with my family.
