Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies - Interior Design
The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary (BIS) is an interdisciplinary degree that allows you to select three areas or emphases and develop a contract of courses
with the departments of your choice. A final capstone project is required, which brings together the three areas of emphases.
For an interior design emphasis, a minimum of 24 credit hours are required as approved by the interior design BIS advisor.
You must have an interview with the BIS program coordinator to enroll.

Grade Requirements
Receive a minimum grade of “B” in each IDT course.
Receive a minimum grade of “C” in each additional course taken for the three emphases in addition to a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Classes listed on the BIS contract must be taken for a letter grade; special exams, CLEP or credit/no credit are not allowed for contract classes.
