What Our Alumni are Saying
“My education through Weber State’s interior design program gave me the technical, creative thinking, & presentation skills necessary to be competitive
within the design industry. As a result, I was able to obtain employment after graduation with a top architecture & design firm and am
now designing resorts, hotels, casinos, & restaurants around the world.”
Zack Meyer, Designer, Class of 2017
Gensler, WRJ Design Associates, Ltd.
“By far, the interdisciplinary charette exercise brought a real-world and very applicable experience. The team effort and demanding deadline
components are exactly what we do weekly in the design firm I am a part of. Additionally, the NCIDQ test prep, AutoCAD, kitchen & bath,
codes and lighting courses have proven invaluable. Contractors and associates are impressed with what I am able to bring to job site meetings in
real-time application. As a result I am well-prepared to work in bigtime high-end residential design/build environments.”

What Architecture and Design Firms are Saying
"Since I joined our architectural practice 13 years ago, we have always had an interior designer on staff. All of our designers have been products of the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Interior Design program and I would never look anywhere else for future interior design staffing needs. The students that we have hired from the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ program have always been incredibly well prepared with well-rounded educations, excellent design skills, wonderful communication and presentation skills and robust skill sets. I have had the opportunity to attend several 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Interior Design functions in the past and have always been impressed with the quality of the directors and instructors, the quality of the students design work … and of course … the students themselves."
