Master of Science in Athletic Training 


The MSAT program is specifically designed for students who possess a bachelor’s degree in a related allied health or exercise science area. However, students with a bachelor’s degree in any field could enter the program after completing the required prerequisite coursework. For 91¶ÌÊÓƵ students, the recommended undergraduate major is Rehabilitation Sciences.

The program provides students with knowledge and skills in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and general medical conditions. It is also designed to prepare them for careers in allied health care as certified athletic trainers.

 

 ACCREDITATION
  In addition to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ's Regional Accreditation, our program is accredited by the appropriate specialty accreditor.

    The Master of Science in Athletic Training program is accredited by the (CAATE).  

    The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education serves the public and profession by establishing and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards that facilitate quality outcomes, continuous improvement, and innovation to enhance athletic training education.  CAATE specializes in advancing clinical practice and improving health care outcomes through promotion of excellence in athletic training.
