 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
to be considered for the Master of Athletic Training program, please follow the steps below

  • Step 1: 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Enrollment

Apply to the MSAT program through ATCAS.

The priority application deadline is December 15th for the following fall semester. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a rolling admissions basis if available slots still exist. Students are encouraged to apply by the priority deadline to ensure they receive full consideration for all scholarships.

ATCAS charges $96 for the first program you apply to and $55 for each additional program. Students with financial challenges may be eligible for a fee waiver for the application fee in ATCAS.  Learn more about the waiver and how to apply .

  • Step 2: Transcript Evaluation

For any coursework completed outside of the United States, you need to have your credits evaluated course-by-course by a Foreign Credential Evaluation Service. Most students use , but any of the agencies listed on the following webpage are acceptable.

    Current Approved Agencies

Please have the official evaluation sent directly to ATCAS at the following address:

    ATCAS
    P.O. Box 9132
    Watertown, MA  02471

  • Step 3: English Proficiency & Requirements

    English Proficiency Testing

If your native language is not English or you did not complete a bachelor's degree at an institution whose primary language of instruction was English, you will be required to submit an official English Language Proficiency score from either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo. Submitted scores must not be more than 2 years old. The TOEFL minimum score is 563 (paper-based) or 85 (internet-based) for full admissions, with a minimum score of 17 in each section. The IELTS minimum score is 6.5 for full admissions, with a minimum of 6.0 in each section. The Duolingo minimum score is 105 for full admissions.

Send your official English Language Proficiency scores directly to ATCAS. If you took the Duolingo test, you will ALSO need to request for Duolingo to send your score report directly to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ (Graduate).

Students who do not met the minimum scores on an English Language Proficiency test should either retake the same test or consider taking one of the other two test options in attempt to achieve the minimum scores. Whichever conditional route a student chooses, we highly encourage international students to invest in an English tutor prior to taking a second English Language Proficiency test.

Students can compare the format, fees, and scores between the English proficiency tests in this .
